On VFS, simply preview the video clips and "click to download" for a broadcast quality file. Note that 4:3 and 16:9 aspect ratios are listed in both the file name and clip description. Special feeds for individual stations will be identified in the file title. After selecting your file, save to your desktop or NLE file folder, or external drive. Many producers find it best to simply download the file direct to a thumb drive and hand off the drive to an editor just as they would a traditional DV or Beta SP tape.

Importing VFS Files In Avid or Final Cut - Simply choose "import file" and ingest the H264 .mov file into your system for editing. Other systems operate with a similar workflow and you may want to check your documentation for import settings.
